  • Samantha Magistro

    Samantha Magistro

    Samantha Magistro, Chief Executive Officer, began her professional career at Bronx Pro in 2000. After four years of working on tax credit compliance, Samantha joined the company full-time to work on the University Macombs Apartments project as an Assistant Project Manager. While pursuing post-graduate studies at Columbia, Samantha remained active in her field, interning at the Manhattan's Borough President's Office and holding a part-time position as a Project Manager at Enterprise Community Partners. Upon completion of her graduate degree, Samantha returned to Bronx Pro full-time in August 2008 to lead real estate development. She is an active board member of the Supportive Housing Network of New York, the DreamYard Project, Citizen’s Housing and Planning Council, and the Foundation for Bronx Community College. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University.

  • Morgan Magistro

    Morgan Magistro

    Morgan Magistro, Chief Operating Officer, began her professional career with Bronx Pro in 2004 and joined the company full-time as a Financial Analyst in 2006. By 2009, Morgan was given direct control of the financial operations of Bronx Pro’s property management and development. During her time at Bronx Pro, Morgan successfully restructured the company’s financial systems by implementing profit-seeking budgets and forecasting systems to identify key financial control points and strategies for Bronx Pro’s asset management. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University and Master of Business Administration from Fordham University.

  • Dawn S. Davis

    Dawn S. Davis

    Dawn S. Davis, Executive Vice President, joined Bronx Pro in 2004 to spearhead the University Macombs Apartments project. Prior to joining the firm, she enjoyed a 10-year career as a Vice President in real estate finance at European American Bank and JP Morgan Chase. While in banking, Dawn financed construction and permanent transactions resulting in the creation of 1,700 affordable housing units and 119,000 SF of commercial space in New York City and Long Island. Dawn has worked in city government as a Senior Project Manager with the NYC Economic Development Corporation implementing the city’s neighborhood retail development strategy and as a Development Manager with the Department of Small Business Services - Commercial Revitalization. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia College and a Master of Urban Planning from New York University. Dawn was a mayoral appointee to the NYC Water Board from 2004 to 2010.

  • Justin Stein

    Justin Stein

    Justin Stein, Executive Vice President, joined Bronx Pro in 2014. Justin has over 14 years of real estate development, construction and real estate finance experience. He worked as a Project Manager for a contractor and real estate developer, completing multifamily rental, condominium, mixed use and commercial developments throughout the tri-state area. He then joined Enterprise Community Investment where he was a Tax Credit Equity Underwriter, responsible for the underwriting and closing of the new construction and preservation of 1,360 units that had total project costs of over $443 million and equity investments of over $200 million. At Bronx Pro, he is responsible for the development and construction of new projects. Justin has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bentley College.

  • Alexandra Gazivoda, Senior Vice President of Property Management

    Alexandra Gazivoda

    Alexandra Gazivoda, Senior Vice President of Property Management joined Bronx Pro in 2006 as a member of the development team. In 2013, Alexandra moved into property management, where she currently oversees the operations of over 2,500 units across Bronx Pro’s portfolio. In addition to development and property management, Alexandra has experience in underwriting, compliance and marketing. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Fordham University’s College of Business Administration, where she double majored in Finance and Management. Alexandra volunteers with the Albanian Catholic Church, Our Lady of Shkodra, teaching catechism to 3rd and 4th grade students.

  • Martha Masoero

    Martha Masoero, Assistant Vice President joined Bronx Pro in 2024 as part of the development team. Martha has 10 years of affordable housing development and construction experience. Prior to joining Bronx Pro, she worked for a number of reputable NYC non-profits such as MHANY Management, Services for the UnderServed and, most recently, RiseBoro Community Partnership where she was the VP of Real Estate overseeing development, construction and marketing. Martha holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oxford and a Master of Science in Social Policy from the London School of Economics.

  • Jennifer Anné

    Jennifer Anné

    Jennifer Anné, Assistant Vice President, joined Bronx Pro in March of 2006. Prior to joining the organization, Jennifer led teams in customer service, project management, operations, and executive administration. She has nearly 35 years of experience in corporate management, legal, insurance, and human resources development. Jennifer is currently responsible for Risk Management and Human Resources. Previously, she has also led the Quality Control and Resident Services teams. Active in community affairs, Jennifer has served on boards supporting women business owners and community development. Jennifer holds a certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell University’s School of Industrial Relations.

  • Laura Calvo

    Laura Calvo

    Laura Calvo, Assistant Vice President, joined Bronx Pro in 1998, and oversees resident outreach and relocation for the firm’s entire portfolio. Laura’s team plays a central role in ensuring resident wellbeing, satisfaction, and retention. Originally from the Bronx, Laura is able to lead a team that engages residents through a community-centered lens. Prior to Bronx Pro, Laura worked in higher education as an academic advisor at Hostos Community College where she played a salient role in transitioning college applications to a digital platform. Laura earned an associate’s degree from Hostos Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in English, from Hunter College

  • Karina Aclar

    Karina Aclar, Director of Regulatory Compliance joined Bronx Pro Group in 2010, where she oversees all aspects of low-income housing tax credit compliance across the organization's portfolio. With over 22 years of experience in low-income housing, Karina has played a pivotal role in leading the Compliance Department and ensuring near 100% compliance throughout the portfolio over the past 14 years. Before joining Bronx Pro, she worked for five years at the non-profit organization Mid Bronx Desperados, where she built strong working relationships with key agencies such as HPD, Enterprise, and HDC.

  • Jesse Rothberg

    Jesse Rothberg

    Jesse Rothberg, Director of Marketing joined Bronx Pro Group in 2016. Jesse is responsible for the oversight and completion of Bronx Pro's housing lotteries, from commencement all the way through to lease up. Over the past 8+ years, Jesse has worked on or overseen 16 housing lotteries and has contributed to the lease-up of over 800 apartments, in addition to the hundreds of supportive units leased up outside of housing lotteries. He is also currently overseeing the sales of 42 cooperative units. Prior to working at Bronx Pro, Jesse enjoyed a 7-year career as a Media Buyer, working in television commercial advertising, as well as an additional 3 years working for JP Morgan Chase as a Relationship and Small Business Banker. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Rhetoric from the State University of New York at Albany.

  • Julie Woinsky

    Julie Woinsky

    Julie Woinsky, Compliance Advisor, joined Bronx Pro in 2006. Julie is responsible for regulatory and Low Income Housing Tax Credit compliance for the Bronx Pro portfolio. Julie initially served as Bronx Pro’s Director of Resident Services, where she was responsible for implementing a team within Bronx Pro to address supportive services and tenant needs. Julie has over 25 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Prior to joining Bronx Pro, Julie worked as an Associate Director in Standard & Poor’s Tax-Exempt Housing and Municipal Structured Finance Group. Julie also enjoyed a 14-year career at the New York City Housing Authority, where she was responsible for the planning and implementation of innovative homeownership and rental affordable housing programs. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University and a Master of Public Administration from New York University.

  • Yan Ying

    Yan Ying, Director of Finance joined Bronx Pro Group as a financial analyst, developing a solid foundation in financial analysis and budgeting. Under Peter Magistro’s mentorship, she gained hands-on experience of the business and gained unique insights into the challenges and strategies that drive impactful affordable housing solutions. She leads all aspects of Bronx Pro’s financial strategy, from budgeting to reporting, ensuring that our projects are fiscally sustainable and aligned with our mission, supporting long-term planning to expand our impact on the affordable housing community. She is committed to supporting Bronx Pro's mission to make housing accessible and affordable, working to ensure that our finances align with our values of equity, sustainability, and community empowerment. Yan holds a Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University, where she double majored in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Economics, and Master of Business Administration from Fordham University.
